One and One is my web hosting company. They have great rates and the hosting site is easy to use with lots of handy tools and templates. Better yet, if you want to use them as your web host and you go their site to buy a hosting package by clicking on the link from this page, I get a small "affiliate" commission!

At the northern reaches of flying squirrel habitat, a humble bakery cafe is sprouting up in the semi-wilds of an Alaskan forest. As the conductor of what is sure to be an orchestra of helpers, I hope to direct the creation of something new, different, and exciting for area residents and visitors to Talkeetna, Alaska. Read about the progress here.

Esther happens to be my sister, but is also a wonderful singer/songwriter, mountain dulcimer and flute player and fellow web designer. I designed the CD packaging for her recent release, Unfinished Houses. Without bias, I suggest you buy it!

Volunteer work is VERY time consuming, but rewarding as well. This project will be especially rewarding for my son and I sure hope he gets to grow up in a town with a playground. Check out this web site that I designed pro-bono. Maybe you would like to make a donation toward this great effort. Maybe you'd like to volunteer, too!

If you are looking for something to do in Talkeetna, Alaska, somewhere to stay while visiting, or a way to get here, look no further!

Although I don't seem to have much time for web radio, or the ability to focus at the computer with many distractions, the Whole Wheat Radio webcast is really pretty cool. Run by my sister's partner, Jim Kloss, it's just full of independent music you may never have heard of, but might wish you had.

Someday, I will have a link to my in-laws' farm right here in Talkeetna - as soon as I have time to design that website, too. But for now, we can get year-round organic produce through this unique CSA near Seattle, WA delivered right to Talkeetna. They deliver CSA boxes all over Washington and Alaska. If you check it out and decide to join, mention my name and I'll get a free small box!

Americans put 50 million diapers into landfills every day. That’s 20 billion a year. Regular disposable diapers will be there for 500 years. Oliver has been wearing mostly gdiapers since he was 6 months old. OK, we have a VERY big compost pile, but it's better than mounds of trash bags! These diapers admittedly take some practice. But it's worth it. Designed to keep babies dry and comfortable and the earth a whole lot happier, gDiapers have no elemental chlorine, perfumes, smell, garbage or guilt. Flush, compost, or throw them away! GET IT?
